ABOUT

Hi. Thank you for stopping a minute to check out who I am and what I’m blogging about on angelahorn.com.

First, let me introduce myself. I’m Angie, a writer and blogger. I’ve published two nonfiction books, Phantom Seven and Simple Summer Recipes, a help booklet on how to use Twitter, and numerous articles. I’ve published several articles on blogging in The Inkslinger, an online newsletter from the High Desert Branch of the California Writers Club.

Phantom Seven is a collection of World War II and Office of Strategic Services memoir collection. Simple Summer Recipes is a simple-to-make recipe book/cookbook.

Due to my experience in the writers’ club, I became interested in helping authors set up and maintain their websites (authors would rather be writing than having to maintain a blog).

But that’s not all I do. I blog about recipes and cooking at kitchen hospitality.com. You may notice a gap here at angelahorn.com. That’s because I took a needed hiatus to work on my food blog – and for a surgery to remove cancer in November 2018. The good news is I am cancer free.

I spent time after the surgery to create sugar-free recipes. Then my husband learned he is a diabetic. Now I’ve created more recipes for no/low sugar and low-carb menus for hubs and me.

Now that I’m well and the food blog has been updated, I am back to blogging about writing and blogging – and helping authors blog.

If you’re a writer and need help with your blog (like blog posts, updating/maintaining your blog, blog headers/photos, etc.) email me for blog help at angelahornblog@gmail.com.
